is what makes Chirpy different

Chirpy Assist is a unique Chirpy feature that helps members ask for and offer practical support within their Chirpy community. It is designed for everyday moments where a little help can make a big difference — a lift to a CatchUp, picking up groceries, walking a dog, simple technology help, or checking in when someone is living alone or travelling.

Chirpy Assist is about kindness, connection and practical support. It helps members connect, help and be helped.

Chirpy Assist is included immediately in the Annual Membership. Monthly members may also access Chirpy Assist after 12 months of continuous monthly membership.

Helping Hearts

Helping Hearts are Chirpy’s way of recognising members who help other members. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be used as payment. Instead, they are a recognition feature within Chirpy. When members earn Helping Hearts by helping others, their kindness and contribution can be recognised within the Chirpy community. This helps encourage a culture where members feel valued for giving their time, sharing their skills and supporting others in practical ways.

Chirpy Assist lets members offer help to another Chirpy member.

This is not about professional services or paid work. It is about practical kindness between members of the Chirpy community.

I’M Okay
quiet daily reassurance

I’m Okay is part of Chirpy Assist. It is a simple Chirpy feature for members who live alone, travel, or simply want a little daily reassurance. Once set up, the member presses one button every 24 hours and Chirpy sends a preset message to their chosen Buddy. It is simple, private and designed for peace of mind.

I’m Okay is included as part of Chirpy Assist for Annual Members and eligible monthly members who have been subscribed for 12 months or more.

 
 

Who can use Chirpy Assist?

Chirpy Assist, I’m Okay and Helping Hearts are included immediately in the Chirpy Annual Membership. Monthly members may also access Chirpy Assist after 12 months of continuous monthly membership.
Chirpy Lite members do not have access to Chirpy Assist, I’m Okay or Helping Hearts.

Chirpy Assist and I’m Okay are not emergency services, medical alert systems, welfare check services or guaranteed safety services. They are Chirpy community features designed for practical support and quiet reassurance. Members should always have appropriate emergency contacts, health support and backup arrangements in place.
